A British couple and two Israelis were among the victims of a cable car crash at Mount Faito in Italy. The crash resulted in three deaths and one person being seriously injured. Sixteen people were successfully rescued from a second cabin on the line. The mayor of Castellammare di Stabia stated that a traction cable had snapped, and investigations are underway.
