Police in Odisha and Bengal fired warning shots to stop two brothers, sons of a double-murder prime accused, from escaping custody. The brothers had returned to Odisha after the violence in Murshidabad and were being brought to Bengal. Along with the brothers, six other suspects believed to be involved in anti-waqf protests in Murshidabad were also being questioned. The suspects will be brought back to Bengal for further investigation.
