Casspi, the first Israeli to reach the NBA, has been a model of inspiration and has contributed to Israel's public diplomacy efforts. Yarin Binyaminov, a survivor of the Nova Festival massacre, and Dr. Eli David, a leading researcher in AI, will also light torches. Inbar Ben Simon, the wife of reservist Raz Ben Simon, who was injured while fighting, will light a torch alongside her husband.
