Thousands of people, including Holocaust survivors, participate in the annual 'March of the Living' through Auschwitz-Birkenau to commemorate the 80th anniversary of its liberation. The march pays tribute to the millions of Jews who died in the Holocaust and calls for an end to antisemitism and intolerance. Israeli flags were carried and calls were made for the release of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. Israel's prime minister Isaac Herzog also joined the crowds.
