A new study led by Prof. Dan Zeltzer compared the accuracy of AI recommendations to those of physicians at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The study found that AI recommendations were rated as optimal in 77% of cases, compared to only 67% of physicians' decisions. AI adheres more strictly to medical guidelines and identifies relevant information in medical records more comprehensively. However, physicians have an advantage in assessing the patient's actual condition. The study suggests that AI can provide more accurate diagnostic and treatment recommendations, but questions remain about the best way to implement AI in the medical field.
