Two agencies in Mangaluru were booked for illegal overseas recruitment activities, with one agency operating without the mandatory license required under the Emigration Act, 1983, and another engaging in similar illegal activities on social media platforms. The agencies were caught advertising jobs in Europe, Israel, Mauritius, and Gulf countries without valid authorization from the ministry of external affairs.
