The Israel Defence Forces and Shin Bet security agency confirmed that the body of Hamas leader Muhammad Sinwar was found in a tunnel under the European Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza. Sinwar, responsible for the deaths of civilians, was killed in an IDF strike on May 13. The tunnel was used as a Hamas command center.
