Three people lost their lives and several others were seriously injured after a passenger train derailed in southwestern Germany on Sunday. The derailment occurred between Riedlingen and Munderkingen, with around 100 passengers on board when two carriages left the tracks. The incident took place on a regional route connecting Sigmaringen and Ulm. Authorities are still investigating the cause, and images from the scene showed the train cars toppled and twisted, though largely intact.
