Riot police and anti-Israel protesters clashed on the Greek island of Rhodes as the Israeli cruise ship Crown Iris docked with over 600 tourists. Demonstrators, chanting in support of Palestine and against the war in Gaza, were pushed back by police, resulting in minor scuffles and the arrest of 13 people, including a local politician. Despite the protests, the ship's passengers disembarked without incident, while local businesses and officials welcomed them at the port. The incident follows a similar protest on the island of Syros, where the cruise ship was forced to leave early, and comes amid a rise in anti-Israel and antisemitic incidents in Greece since the start of the Gaza conflict.
