Profound concern over Gaza, Guernsey chief minister says

Guernsey's chief minister, Deputy Lindsay de Sausmarez, has written to United Kingdom Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer to express deep concern over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. In her letter, she condemned the suffering and starvation taking place and referenced Starmer's commitment to working with international partners to address the situation. Guernsey politicians have also voiced their support for a joint statement from the United Kingdom and other nations calling for an immediate end to the conflict. Israel, which controls supply entry into Gaza, has attributed malnutrition cases to actions by Hamas.
