France has temporarily halted its programme to evacuate Palestinians from Gaza, following revelations that a student admitted under the scheme allegedly shared antisemitic content online. The student, who had been granted a place at Sciences Po Lille, is now facing expulsion from France and a judicial investigation for reportedly justifying terrorism and crimes against humanity. French authorities have announced that all Gazans who entered the country through this programme will undergo additional security screenings. The suspension will remain in place until the government concludes its internal inquiry into the screening process that allowed the student to enter.
