The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews has launched emergency aid efforts to support Druze and Christian minorities in Syria's Sweida region, following violent attacks by jihadist forces. The organization, which had not previously operated in Syria, responded to urgent calls for medical supplies and equipment after reports of mass killings and village burnings. Israeli military strikes were also carried out to halt the advance of Islamist fighters and prevent further massacres. Leaders from both the Jewish and Druze communities emphasized the importance of solidarity in the face of religiously motivated violence and called for continued support for persecuted minorities in Syria.
