The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange experienced declines on Monday, with major indices closing lower. The Tel Aviv 35 Index dropped by 0.65 percent, while the Tel Aviv 125 Index fell by 0.96 percent, and the BlueTech Global Index decreased by 1.33 percent. Despite the overall market downturn, Elbit and Tower managed to rise, while Teva led the declines. In the bond market, the All Bond corporate bond index saw a modest increase. Trading volumes reached over 3.6 billion shekels in equities and more than 4 billion shekels in bonds.
On the currency front, the shekel weakened against the euro but strengthened against the dollar, as set by the Bank of Israel.
