A recent survey by the Lazar Research Institute shows the Likud party maintaining its lead in Israeli politics with 23 seats if elections were held today. New parties are making significant gains, with a party led by Naftali Bennett projected to win 21 seats and another headed by Gadi Eisenkot expected to secure 11 seats. The newly formed Democrats, a merger of Labor and Meretz, would receive 10 seats, while other established parties like Shas, Yisrael Beytenu, and Yesh Atid would each win between seven and nine seats. The poll also highlights a divided political landscape, with the center-left bloc projected to win a majority of 61 seats, compared to 49 for the coalition parties, and Arab parties holding the remaining ten seats.

The survey further reveals that most of Eisenkot's support comes from voters of Blue and White and Yesh Atid, rather than the coalition. On the issue of hostage negotiations, a majority of Israelis place the blame on Hamas, while a smaller portion blame Israel or both sides equally.
