The Samaria Regional Council has unveiled plans to rebuild the formerly evacuated communities of Ganim and Kadim, projecting that the new neighborhoods could eventually house around 46,000 residents. This estimate is based on professional planning and the availability of state-owned land in the area. Council head Yossi Dagan has urged the government to repeal the 2005 Disengagement Law for these communities, emphasizing the importance of rectifying what he described as a past injustice. Recent efforts have also included the resumption of municipal services in Sa-Nur, with sanitation teams and returning families working together to restore the site. The council sees these developments as significant steps toward reestablishing the uprooted communities and preparing for the return of residents.
