A delegation from the leadership of Hamas, led by Khalil al-Hayya, has arrived in Cairo following an invitation from Egypt. The group is set to engage in talks with senior Egyptian officials concerning the ongoing conflict in Gaza, as well as the broader situation in Judea and Samaria, Jerusalem, and Al-Aqsa. According to senior Hamas official Taher al-Nono, preliminary discussions have already started, with formal meetings scheduled for Wednesday. The agenda includes efforts to halt the fighting in Gaza, facilitate humanitarian aid, address the suffering of civilians, discuss internal Palestinian relations, and explore the possibility of national political agreements, alongside strengthening ties with Egypt.
