Yosef Haim Moalem, a member of the Jerusalem City Council, reported being attacked while driving on Highway 1 near Latrun Junction. According to Moalem, he witnessed individuals collecting and throwing rocks before being approached by someone seeking help. Moalem described being assaulted by two people who kicked him and threw a rock at his back, causing him to lose consciousness. He was hospitalized and sustained bruises. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
