Mon: TASE mixed as banks fall

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange ended the day with mixed results, as leading indices posted slight declines while technology stocks saw gains. The Tel Aviv 35 Index and Tel Aviv 125 Index both edged lower, while the BlueTech Global Index rose modestly. Corporate bonds also experienced a small increase in value, with overall trading turnover remaining robust across equities and bonds.

On the currency front, both the shekel-dollar and shekel-euro rates increased compared to Friday's levels. Banking shares were among the day's weakest performers, with Bank Hapoalim, Bank Leumi, Mizrahi Tefahot Bank, and Israel Discount Bank all recording notable losses.

Shapir Engineering & Industries registered the largest drop on the Tel Aviv 35 Index, while Azrieli Group's shares fell sharply following the resignation of its chief executive officer after a brief tenure.
