Amid a surge in antisemitism and increasingly anti-Israel policies in the United Kingdom, a record number of young Jews from the Bnei Akiva UK youth movement are choosing to move to Israel. Since May 2024, thirty-five members and alumni have made or committed to making Aliyah, with nineteen moving this summer alone, marking the highest figure in recent years. Personal stories from individuals like Jacob Seitler, Josh Cohen, and Michal Benjamin highlight motivations rooted in Jewish identity, religious conviction, and a desire to be part of the unfolding story of the Jewish people in their homeland. Movement leaders and educators view this wave of Aliyah as the fulfilment of Bnei Akiva's mission, celebrating the courage and hope of young Jews embracing their future in Israel.
