A new cellular tower was inaugurated in Givat Asaf, Binyamin region, providing high-quality mobile coverage for local residents and commuters along major routes. The installation addresses longstanding issues of poor reception and safety concerns, marking a significant improvement in daily life and security for the area.
This tower is part of a broader infrastructure initiative aiming to establish 23 new towers across Judea and Samaria by 2026. Local leaders and officials emphasized the project's importance for practical governance, enhanced civilian services, and strengthened presence in the region.
Cellcom, in coordination with the Beit El Local Council and the Ministry of Communications, led the project, which also supports security and emergency services. The Ministry of Communications highlighted the national effort to expand mobile and fiber-optic coverage, investing over 50 million shekels to improve connectivity and security for citizens.
