Most Trump Voters Agree: Hamas Is to Blame for Suffering in Gaza

A new poll reveals that the majority of voters who support President Donald Trump overwhelmingly place responsibility for the suffering in Gaza on Hamas, rather than Israel. Most respondents cited Hamas's attacks, alleged theft of aid, and use of civilians as shields as primary reasons, while only a small fraction blamed Israel, the United Nations, the United States, or neighboring Arab nations.

Support for Israel remains strong among these voters, with over eighty percent believing the United States should continue its backing of the Jewish state and that Israel has the right to defend itself. This stance persists despite recent criticism of U.S. aid to Israel from prominent figures such as Marjorie Taylor Greene and Tucker Carlson, who have questioned the country's military support and involvement in Middle Eastern conflicts.

The poll also highlights that Trump's supporters view Iran as a significant threat, with a vast majority considering it crucial to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons. These findings suggest that, despite some dissenting voices, the core base maintains a consistent position on Middle Eastern policy and U.S. foreign aid.
