A 15-year-old boy was rescued after being trapped for three hours in a sewer beneath Refidim Street in Tel Aviv. The incident occurred when three teenagers entered the underground sewage system; while two managed to escape, the third became stuck in the network of concrete pipes. Emergency teams, including fire and special rescue units, responded to the scene and worked to free the boy, who was conscious but exhausted. Part of the northbound highway was temporarily closed to facilitate the rescue, and the boy was extracted through a manhole before being taken for medical care. The highway was reopened after the successful operation.
