ChatGPT has maintained its position as the leading artificial intelligence platform globally, while competitors such as Gemini and Perplexity are rapidly gaining ground. Perplexity, in particular, has seen a significant surge in mobile rankings, moving from number fifty in March to number ten in the most recent report.
In contrast, Meta's artificial intelligence offering continues to struggle, ranking only forty-sixth among websites and failing to enter the top fifty apps. Other platforms like Claude and DeepSeek have experienced notable declines in mobile usage, with DeepSeek's active users dropping by twenty-two percent and its website traffic falling forty percent since February.
Despite these shifts, Claude and Perplexity have both shown growth on desktop platforms, indicating a changing landscape in how users interact with artificial intelligence services.
