Hamas terrorist who held Emily Damari hostage said killed in IDF strike

Israeli forces have reportedly killed Hazem Naim, one of the militants involved in holding British-Israeli hostage Emily Damari captive in Gaza. Damari, who was abducted during the October 7 attack on Kibbutz Kfar Aza, endured months in captivity before her release in January 2025 as part of a ceasefire and hostage exchange deal. Another captor, Nasr Ali Quneita, was previously killed in an Israeli strike in June. While Damari is now free, many hostages remain in Gaza, with ongoing efforts to secure their release and recover the bodies of those confirmed dead. The conflict has seen several exchanges and rescues, but dozens of hostages are still unaccounted for.
