The historic al Nuri mosque in Mosul, Iraq, has reopened eight years after it was destroyed by IS militants. The mosque, where IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi declared the 'caliphate', was reconstructed with the help of UNESCO using traditional techniques and materials.
