Seven government ministers, led by Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu, requested the transfer of the IDF cannon that fired on the Altalena ship to the Menachem Begin Heritage Center. Defense Minister Israel Katz approved the request, and the cannon, known as 'The Sacred Cannon', will be moved from Camp Glilot to the heritage center in Jerusalem.
