Israeli-Russian researcher Elizabeth Tsurkov has returned to Israel after being held captive by Iran-linked terrorists in Iraq for over two years. Tsurkov, a doctoral student at Princeton University, was released and arrived in Israel with the assistance of Cyprus. US President Donald Trump announced her release on social media, calling for the release of other hostages.
