'Who's going to protect us?': Ex-wife of man injured in Manchester synagogue attack says he no longer wants to live in UK

The ex-wife of Yoni Finlay, who was injured by a police bullet during the recent Manchester synagogue attack, has spoken out about the deep sense of fear and insecurity her family now feels. Naomi Finlay described how Yoni, still recovering in hospital, is questioning whether he and their children can continue living in the United Kingdom after experiencing both the attack and ongoing antisemitic abuse. She recounted her family's constant state of alert, the trauma of the attack, and the pain of seeing her children afraid to be visibly Jewish in public. While praising the police response, she expressed concern about their safety in the long term, asking who will protect them once the immediate attention fades.
