Amazon Web Services has announced the selection of 40 startups from across the globe for its 2025 Generative Artificial Intelligence Accelerator program. The eight-week initiative aims to support early-stage companies working on foundational generative artificial intelligence technologies, offering them up to one million dollars in credits, access to Amazon Web Services's technology stack, and mentorship from industry experts.
Startups from regions including North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America will participate, representing industries such as finance, healthcare, legal, robotics, and media. The program will provide training in machine learning performance, infrastructure optimization, and go-to-market strategies, culminating in a showcase event at the Amazon Web Services re:Invent conference in Las Vegas.
Company leaders highlighted the global reach and diversity of the selected startups, noting their potential to address complex challenges and drive innovation across sectors. The program is set to begin in October 2025 at Amazon's headquarters in Seattle.
