Authorities believe she selected victims in Malibu and nearby areas, later breaking into their homes to steal cash and valuables. At least ten men are thought to have been affected by her alleged schemes.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has released Lavie's photo and physical description, urging the public to help identify additional victims. Lavie reportedly used several aliases and was seen driving luxury vehicles in the area.
