The government is conducting an urgent phone poll to approve changes to the list of prisoners scheduled for release. The proposed amendments involve replacing two security prisoners, including one already released and another affiliated with Fatah, with two prisoners affiliated with Hamas who are not serving life sentences. Seven Gazan minors will be removed from the list and replaced with two Gazan women, while additional exchanges within groups of Gazans are being made based on security considerations. The total number of Gazans to be released will decrease slightly, and five more Gazans have been added as reserves in case they are needed during the night.
