Yosef Chaim Ohana, who worked as a bartender at the Nova festival in Re'im, was caught in the attack by Hamas militants. During the chaos, he and his friend helped evacuate the wounded before being separated by gunfire and a rocket-propelled grenade. Ohana's mother recounted how the two friends ran in different directions, with his friend last seeing Yosef hiding behind a vehicle. Ohana is remembered fondly by his friends, one of whom even tattooed his portrait as a tribute.
