A mural dedicated to the Bibas family, victims of a kidnapping and killing during the conflict in Gaza, was defaced at Milan's central synagogue. The artwork, created by Italian artist aleXsandro Palombo, was unveiled earlier this month and portrays Shiri Bibas and her two sons, Kfir and Ariel, who were taken from Kibbutz Nir Oz. The vandalism occurred during a memorial event, casting a shadow over the commemoration. The mural had previously been displayed in front of the Consulate General of Qatar.
