The court found that the hospital's negligence during the procedure and subsequent care led to severe, lasting consequences, including the man's inability to work and significant personal losses. Judge Miriam Lifshitz-Privas determined that the medical team deviated from accepted standards, resulting in permanent harm to the patient.
