Emad Al Rawashdeh, who fled Syria during the civil war and resettled in Omagh, Northern Ireland, is on a desperate search for his missing children and grandchildren. After some of his family members remained in the Middle East and later traveled to Libya, Emad lost contact with them in August 2024. His last communication revealed that they were planning to cross to Italy by boat with the help of a trafficker. A BBC documentary team has followed Emad's emotional journey as he seeks answers about his family's fate.
