Hamas has announced it will transfer the bodies of three newly-recovered hostages to Israel on Sunday night. This follows a previous handover where the remains did not match any of the missing hostages. The process of recovering and identifying the deceased has been hampered by the extensive destruction in Gaza and limited resources, with Egypt and the Red Cross assisting in the search. While all living hostages have been released under the ceasefire agreement, the remains of several individuals are still unaccounted for, including two foreign nationals.
