Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that Tehran will rebuild its nuclear sites 'stronger than before' after recent strikes by Israel and the United States targeted key facilities. Despite acknowledging the severity of the damage, Iranian officials emphasized that their scientists retain the expertise needed to restore the country's nuclear capabilities.
The attacks have prompted renewed diplomatic activity, with Oman urging both Iran and the United States to resume negotiations. While Tehran has received messages about restarting talks, officials remain firm in rejecting direct negotiations over their nuclear and missile programs, insisting on the continuation of uranium enrichment.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that indirect negotiations could address concerns about Iran's nuclear program, but criticized the conditions set by Washington as unacceptable. The reactivation of sanctions under the 'snapback' mechanism has also drawn condemnation from Tehran, following failed talks with European countries.
