A new report from the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy alleges that the Muslim Brotherhood has been conducting a decades-long campaign to infiltrate and influence American institutions, including government agencies and educational organizations. Drawing on internal documents, the 200-page report argues that the group has leveraged Western freedoms to advance its ideological goals, and calls for the United States to officially designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. The report also highlights alleged connections between the Brotherhood and other extremist groups, as well as funding sources from foreign states. Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently designated the Muslim Brotherhood and another organization as terrorist and criminal entities, barring them from acquiring land in Texas. The report urges further action from Congress and warns of the ongoing threat posed by the Brotherhood's activities in the United States.
