Ryan Wedding, a Canadian former Olympic snowboarder, has been charged with orchestrating the murder of a federal witness in Colombia to avoid extradition to the United States. Wedding, who is accused of running a vast international drug trafficking network, allegedly worked with the Sinaloa cartel to move large quantities of cocaine between Colombia, Mexico, the United States, and Canada. Authorities say he used a Canadian website to help identify the witness, who was subsequently killed in Medellin in January.
