Judge Matthew A. P. Thornhill, a longtime St. Charles County judge and devoted Elvis Presley fan, has been dismissed after a disciplinary commission found he repeatedly incorporated Elvis references into court proceedings. The commission recommended his suspension, leading to his removal after two decades on the bench.
