Yosef Chaim Ohana, recently released from captivity, returned to his home in Kiryat Malakhi after completing rehabilitation. He was greeted by dozens of residents in an emotional homecoming. Ohana shared his longing for his family and home, expressing that his first wish was to cry in his mother's house. He marked his return by putting on tefillin for the first time since his release and reminisced with his father about religious rituals he missed during captivity. Ohana spoke about the hardships he faced, especially hunger, and requested his mother's couscous as his first meal. He also recalled singing Sabbath songs with fellow captives, imagining himself back at his family table.
