Rabbi Binyamin Ze'ev Knepflmacher, a prominent leader in the Breslov Hasidic community, has passed away at the age of 74 after a prolonged illness. Born in Denmark in 1951, he began his spiritual journey as a Vizhnitz Hasid before joining the Breslov movement, where he became a central figure. Rabbi Knepflmacher was renowned for his deep devotion to prayer, often leading morning services that lasted up to five hours, and was sought after for his blessings, especially during the festival of Purim. He served for many years as a lecturer and educator in Breslov yeshivas and was a pillar of the Breslov study hall in Jerusalem's Mea She'arim neighborhood. His funeral will take place today, beginning at the Breslov study hall and proceeding to Har HaMenuchos for burial.
