Reuven Morrison, a 62-year-old who confronted terrorists during a Hanukkah event in Sydney, was honored as a hero after his death. Morrison was seen in footage bravely fighting off attackers at Bondi Beach before being fatally shot, an act that claimed the lives of 15 people. His friend, Moshe Gordon, recognized him in the video and described Morrison's courage as true to his character. Morrison's body was flown from Sydney to Melbourne for burial, with the help of a pilot friend and the Australian air force, which temporarily halted international flights to ensure his transport.
