According to recent data from the Personnel Directorate, a total of 151 soldiers have died in the past year. Among these, 91 lost their lives during operational activities or as a result of terrorist attacks. There are 21 cases where suicide is suspected, but distress was identified in only five of these cases. Other causes of death include illness, civilian and military traffic accidents, weapons accidents, and incidents related to alcohol abuse or criminal activity while on leave.
