Elbit Systems has secured a $150 million contract to supply its Iron Fist active protection system to BAE Systems Hägglunds for installation on CV90 infantry fighting vehicles. The agreement follows a successful live-fire demonstration in Europe, where Iron Fist showcased its ability to counter advanced kinetic energy threats. The system offers 360-degree protection against a range of anti-armor threats, including rockets, guided missiles, drones, and tank rounds. This announcement comes amid rising demand for CV90 vehicles and follows another major contract by Elbit to supply its J-Music countermeasure system to a European customer.
