Israel and the United States have signed a joint statement on artificial intelligence, marking a significant step in their technological partnership. The agreement was formalized by Israel's Head of the National Artificial Intelligence Directorate, Brigadier General (Res.) Erez Eskel, and the United States Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs Jacob Helberg. This follows Israel's recent participation in the Pax Silica initiative, which brings together leading nations in the field of artificial intelligence.
The signing ceremony was attended by key officials, including Foreign Affairs Minister Gideon Sa'ar and United States Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee. Both countries emphasized the strategic importance of their relationship, with leaders highlighting ongoing collaboration in research, development, and investment across various sectors. The joint statement reinforces the commitment of Israel and the United States to deepen their partnership in emerging technologies.
