A new executive board, referred to as the 'Board of Peace', has been announced to temporarily oversee Gaza's administration and reconstruction. Notable figures such as former United Kingdom prime minister Tony Blair and United States politician Marco Rubio are among its founding members, alongside business and security leaders. The board's members will each manage portfolios deemed vital for Gaza's stabilization and long-term prospects, with further appointments expected soon. This initiative coincides with the formation of a separate Palestinian technocratic committee to handle daily governance in Gaza, and plans for an international force to support local security efforts.
