One of the needles accidentally pierced her eye, resulting in internal bleeding and a significant risk of permanent vision loss. Garcia described her ordeal, saying she now sees a 'black curtain' in front of her eyes, highlighting the unexpected dangers that can arise from alternative medical treatments. She received emergency care and hospitalization at a medical center in Tel Aviv.
