Israeli forces, in coordination with the internal security agency, conducted targeted operations across the Gaza Strip following a recent ceasefire violation in western Rafah. These operations resulted in the elimination of several senior members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, including Muhammad Hamed Muhammad Khuli, a central figure in Hamas' military operations, and Ashraf Adnan Muhammad al-Khatib, who oversaw rocket and missile operations for Islamic Jihad. Saeed Khaled Ali Abd al-Rahman, a leading sniper commander, was also among those killed.

The strikes also targeted individuals involved in reestablishing militant infrastructure. Israeli officials stated that these actions significantly weaken the capacity of militant groups to plan and execute attacks against Israeli forces and civilians. The military emphasized its ongoing commitment to countering threats from armed groups in the region.
