Pitchon-Lev, in partnership with Taiwan, has launched a new scholarship program aimed at supporting young men and women from Israel's socio-economic periphery. The initiative provides comprehensive assistance, including financial support, personal and professional mentoring, and emotional guidance throughout three years of academic study. The program seeks to help students overcome financial barriers, complete their education, and integrate successfully into the workforce, fostering long-term economic independence.
The scholarship reflects ongoing collaboration between Pitchon-Lev and Taiwan, building on previous educational initiatives and humanitarian aid efforts. The launch included the awarding of a scholarship to Oved Levi, a student facing significant personal and financial challenges, highlighting the program's commitment to empowering individuals and breaking cycles of poverty. Leaders from both organizations emphasized the importance of compassion, collective responsibility, and sustained investment in education as key drivers of social change.
